The MUSKUN Home financing facility is based on the principle of Diminishing Musharakah and Ijarah. You and the Bank participate in joint ownership of a property, and the bank’s share is leased to you. You gradually buy the bank’s units, reducing rent as your ownership increases, until you become the sole owner.

How It Works?

  • You approach BankIslami for financing of Home Purchase, Construction, Renovation, or Balance transfer facility.
  • Submit Application Form with documents and processing fee. Business Executive guides you throughout.
  • Bank verifies residence, office, and references.
  • Income estimation determines maximum financing.
  1. Self Employed: agent collects income details and documents.
  2. Salaried: employer verification done.
  • Legal opinion on property documents; property valuation done.
  • Offer letter issued.
  • Shirkat-ul-Milk (Musharaka) Agreement signed.
  • Pay Order issued to seller for Home purchase. Construction/Renovation funds credited to your account.
  • Monthly Payment Agreement executed.
  • Undertaking to Purchase Musharakah Units given.
  • Monthly purchase of Musharakah units until you become sole owner.
